  • I absolutely LOVED THIS PLACE!! & I initially took my Bf here because he's heavily into Anime! & when I googled bars this came up so I figured I'd surprise him because life been lifing for him. Alex was our awesome Waiter he explained everything and was so welcoming, suggestive simply what customer service should be!!..It's very Colorful, welcoming, and there's a Tv with Anime literally Everywhere!!. My favorite part was the heart beat moving!!! I've NEVER seen nothing like it!. They have an amazing Speakeasy bar downstairs, it's soo cool. The kitchen is in face view so you can see ppl making your food. They have several food options Ramen(my thing), Soju, regular drinks(not refillable tho), appetizers like the Monster Claw(chicken tenders) sooo good. I ordered the divinely delicious Spicy Chicken Ramen with added 3.50 pork belly, they give you Thick pieces of pork, a whole wonderfully flavored chicken leg quarter and it was seasoned down!!!! hell the Whole bowl was!! That I drank the broth. You can swap the ramen noodle for a thick noodle think semi thickness of udon!! For no charge. The Speakeasy Bar layout was EVERYTHING very chill, Delicious strong drinks, a Good time for sure!! , the Bathroom was dope!!! Inside and out. The Place itself was very inviting once you came in, ANY BIG anime fan would loove this esp the action figures as into the decor and you can watch anime no matter which way you're seated or no matter which way your head turns. • Literally the best food I’ve had in my life. I always get the Tokyo style ramen and the broth is like a pure umami essence! Plus for some reason I love the water they serve because it’s always fresh and not lukewarm somehow, great reset and repeat for the ramen. Awesome service too, surprised by how fast the food comes out every single time! Don’t forget there’s a bunch of random anime’s playing too! If you don’t go here you’re seriously missing out

  • Went in for a quick afternoon lunch. I went with the fries as an appetizer, tonkatsu ramen with a soft boiled egg, and to wash it down a milk-tea. The fries were hot, fresh and crispy. The sauce for the fries was really good! The ramen as the main dish was good, the broth leaves a bit to be desired. As someone who spent 15+ years in Japan maybe my standards are a bit higher than the average ramen eater. The broth was not as rich and deep flavored as I usually like. It was still good but for the price being charged I would hope for something more than just average. The milk-tea was good, a bit sweet for my taste but washed everything down just fine. The decor was nice, gives a bit of asial vibe to the place, especially with the Big Godzilla outline on the wall. I would recommend this place and might make a return visit in the future.

  • This spot is super cool and the food is great too. They have a speakeasy underneath so after you get the ramen you can grab drinks downstairs. Such a chill and nerdy vibe. Action figures and statues all along the walls. Anime and Manga fans would love this place. The Brussel sprouts were really good. The Tonkotsu ramen had an excellent broth, came with like three quail eggs also. They have chicken ramen for the people that don’t like pork and that was really good too. The have a selection of craft cocktails but you can order whatever you like as they have a full bar. I got an old fashioned and they did a good job. I’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend.

  • A ramen shop that serves some hearty meals in a fun-looking interior with colorful lights and designs. The staff are attentive, and the food is brought out quickly. I would recommend their Black Miso Cheese Ramen, which had a good broth, especially compared to the Tokyo Ramen. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the noodles, as they were a little on the tough side. We also tried the Tako Corn Dogs, which were on the doughier side and would not recommend.

  • I went on a date at Kaiju Ramen recently because I was craving ramen, and my date recommended it as the place to go, especially in the area. It was my first time having ramen in DC, and I found it really delicious and enjoyable. I didn’t finish it all because I got full, but it’s definitely a low key spot with dim lights that give you that traditional ramen vibe; it really sets the mood. The food was great, but the service could have been better. We had multiple people checking on the table, but not frequently enough. It wasn’t busy, but we still had to wave someone down to take our order and again to close the check, which wasn’t ideal. But aside from that, the food really stood out.

  • I’ve been here a dozen times or so, and every time the food just hits so hard. The gyoza are incredible and all the ramen dishes are just amazing. I love the kaiju chicken, but their kaiju tonkotsu is pretty hard to beat. Stephen helped us recently, and he was fantastic—great service, great suggestions, and super fast, too.
